Supportive Counselling for Individuals

A photo of two men engaged in a conversation with each other. One of the men appears to be a counsellor providing advice to the other.

PAARC offers supportive counselling to individuals and/or persons concerned with someone else’s substance use, gambling, gaming or internet dependencies, and co-occurring emotional distress or mental illness. PAARC uses a variety of evidence-based counselling modalities, best matched to your needs.

PAARC works from a harm reduction framework and endorses person-centred care.

Some of PAARC’s programs are offered in partnership with other organizations, such as hospitals, other community-based health agencies, Probation and Parole, and Peel Regional Police.

All of our services are voluntary, and no information about you will be shared with anyone outside of PAARC without your consent (with the exception of where we are required to disclose information by law.)
